Athletes are students first! N.L.A. requires that all athletes maintain good grades and grade point averages. Each student will have to submit a copy of progress reports and report cards.
Our goal is to enter at least 1 competition during the season! We will also be looking for local events and opportunities to perform at. Our goal is that competition fees and materials will be funded through fundraising.
To maintain high quality equipment, uniforms, travel costs, and other assets, the Lady RedHawks will be doing fundraisers throughout the season. Please note that all fundraisers are mandatory, and we expect maximum participation to help cover fees. If you have any fundraising ideas, please feel free to share them!
It is the responsibility of the coaches to create and maintain a safe, positive, and motivating atmosphere for your athlete. Our role is to ensure that each athlete is presented with equal opportunity to showcase their talent.
There will be no child left behind.
- We will provide thorough training of each sequence we teach.
- Explain different ways so each child can master each motion.
- We will strive for excellence.
- We will motivate each child to step outside of their comfort zone to become the best.
- We record new cheers/ routines at practices, so your child can go back and watch what they’ve learned.
Your role is just as important as the child’s role as a member of this team! We cannot achieve anything without your support. We will all work together to make sure your child has the best experience as a Lady Redhawk. We encourage parents to participate in the N.L.A. organization in any way that suits them.
